Immutable records

Auction ledgers and financial records are immutable by design and retained as a permanent record of what happened. This is what makes an auction disputable-free and the books trustworthy — the record cannot be quietly changed or erased.

Demo requests

If you asked for a demonstration without opening an account, we keep that request for twenty-four months and then delete it. The network address it was sent from is kept for ninety days — it exists only to stop the form being abused — and is deleted after that whether or not the request itself is still held. Ask us sooner and we will delete it sooner; there is no record here we are required to keep.

Product-news sign-ups

An email address given in our site footer is kept for twenty-four months and then deleted automatically. The network address it came from is kept for ninety days, only to stop the form being abused. You can remove your address sooner at /newsletter/unsubscribe.

Account deletion

You may request deletion of your account from your Account page, or by writing to us. Where your data appears only in your own profile, we delete it. Where it appears in a shared, immutable record — an auction you bid in, a receipt issued to you — we anonymize your personal identifiers rather than destroy the record, so the tournament's history stays intact for everyone else in it.

Two records are kept after deletion, linked only to an anonymous identifier: the record of what you consented to and when, with your withdrawal added, because it is our evidence of having asked; and your account's security history, which cannot be edited by anyone once written. Neither holds your number or email address. The security history does keep the names you gave your devices when you added passkeys (such as “my iPhone”), as they were written at the time.
