Joining your team
Owners are invited by link, and the link works once. Accepting makes you the owner of that team and takes you into the auction room — but it does not give you a paddle. Your organizer grants your paddle as a separate step in the cockpit; until they do, the room will tell you there's no grant yet and you cannot bid.
Accepting is not the same as being able to bid. If you've accepted and the room says there's no paddle grant yet, ask your organizer to grant your paddle — nothing you can do on your own screen will change it.
- The link expires 7 days after your organizer creates it.
- It works once — the first person to open and accept it becomes the owner.
- Anyone holding the link can use it, so don't forward it. It is not tied to your phone number.
- An owner link cannot be withdrawn once it has been sent. If it goes astray, tell your organizer straight away.
Bidding on the night
- When a player is up, place your bid from your phone. The current bid and the leading team update live for everyone at once.
- Your purse is tracked as you go — you can never bid past what you have left.
- When the auctioneer marks SOLD, the room hears the name and the price. If it's you, the player joins your squad.
Every bid is verified on the server before it counts. What you see on your screen is what everyone sees — there is nothing to dispute afterwards.
What you owe
After the auction, your organizer works out what you owe from the auction's own record and tells you directly — there is no running balance on your account today. What you do get is the paperwork: when your organizer records your payment, the receipt appears on Money.
Your inbox carries sign-in, profile and registration news only. No receipt or payment is ever announced there, so check Money rather than waiting to be notified.
Still stuck? Email support@desiauction.in and we'll get back within a day. If it's happening during a live auction, put AUCTION NIGHT in the subject line — those go to the front of the queue.
